19 Jan 2011 – Shashwat Dham Khatmurut on Poshipoonam

Poshipoonam is on 19th January 2010. This is the day that Mul Akshar Brahm Gunatitanand Swami received diksha to wear bhagwa clothes and to become a sadhu. This is the day when our Akshar satsang started whereby we dedicate ourselves to an ideal devotee who will liberate us. On this very day, Gunatit Jyot will not only be celebrating Poshipoonam, but will also be undertaking Khatmuhrut Mahapuja at Pappaji Tirth, India.

For Param Pujya Pappaji’s samadhi, a completely new and permanent structure, a Swashwat Dham mandir, is going to be constructed. This will be built as per an architect’s plans and will also have landscape gardens. The divine murti of Param Pujya Pappaji will be made from solid marble.

This event will initially be blessed by Param Pujya Ben but the Swaroopo will remain for the entire Mahapuja. There is a 2 meter pit in which 6 pots of different Pappaji’s smurti prasadi including his hair and ashes will be placed along with jal from holy rivers such as the Ganga and the Yumuna. In addition, the Swaminarayan mantra written by Jyot sisters and the samaj haribhakta, and the divine soil from sacred pilgrimage holy sites such as Chhapaiya, Gadhada and Gondol will also placed in the same pit.

This ceremony and Mahapuja will be a divine occasion, and it will give supreme divine joy and peace to all those can attend and participate through prayer. To those who cannot physically be present, all are requested to remain both mentally and spiritually present by doing dhun or Mahapuja thereby joining in the Khatmuhrut ceremony.
