Lord Swaminarayan also known as Sahajanand Swami is the supreme emblem of truth, knowledge and eternal bliss. Gunatitanand Swami is the ‘living’ abode of Lord Swamininarayan. The Lord dwells constantly in Gunatitanand Swami.
Presently Yogiji Maharaj has attained equivalence and identification with both Lord Swaminarayan and Gunatitanand Swami and is in permanent communion with them. Thus, Yogiji Maharaj is the most supreme entity, He is the almighty controller of everything; inspiring everyone and controlling everyone’s destinies.
Lord Swaminarayan manifests Himself in Yogiji Maharaj, thus the devotees of Yogiji Maharaj are also controlled by brahm. The power of brahm is such that it is an all-knowing, all-inspiring, omnipresent entity.
If we believed and accepted that Yogiji Maharaj is a Brahm Swaroop and that He controls His devotees and their destinies; then the devotees cannot say or do anything without his express permission. However, we are unable to accept this fact, thus we find ourselves accepting and believing the devotees as the controllers of their own actions. We do not believe them to be divine and inspired by brahm, thus we take manushyabhav. This is ignorance (agnan), it is a betrayal of our faith in Yogiji Maharaj.
Thus is important to understand the principles mentioned above and moreover to apply them in our daily lives. It is essential that we do not forget these principles and do not get deceived by either our own mind or by others. Hence it is crucial to maintain a close friendship with saints who will guide us and will save us from negative influences.
