Chapter One: Be Happy and Rejoice! Anand Karo

Always remain happy and contented in the knowledge that you have attained the ultimate. To have found God, the association of a Sadhu and good health. All three are rarely achieved simultaneously. This is something you have, therefore you should celebrate and rejoice !! According to Vachnamrut G. III 2, the attainment of the Pratyaksh Swaroop (God) is the pinnacle of all accomplishments, this is the ultimate salvation and redemption of the soul known as Moksh. The realisation of the Pratyaksh Swaroop and his sambandhwalas as divine beings is the ultimate salvation and the greatest achievement.

Any efforts and endeavours on our part to attain the sambandh of the Pratyaksh Swaroop are deemed necessary only to realise and recognise Him. Once this has been achieved – all that remains to be done in our sadhanas will be undertaken by Yogiji Maharaj himself. All we need to do is to remain submerged in the knowledge that we have achieved this ultimate path to God!

To remain contented and happy and maintain thoughts of mahatmya only is prayer – thus remain happy.

Always remain aware of the following : Swami-ni-Vato Chapter 1 – 1st Discourse and Chapter 4 – 120th Discourse. If and only if you maintain and fully believe that everything is ordained by Yogiji Maharaj, that he is the almighty controller of each and every person (dham, dhami and mukto) and all events, then and only then will you be able to remain happy, enjoying peace and bliss. Thus, wholeheartedly believe and accept those whom you encounter to be divine, and so you shall become yourself.

`Na Anya Pantha Vidhita’ means there is no alternative. Each person generally believes himself to be divine i.e. innocent. When faced with any plight, he will always instinctively blame others. Thus he is plagued with anguish, distress, pain and misery. However, if he endeavours to believe the ‘others’ to be divine and innocent, then even his own faults and vices will be forgiven by the Lord and he will be granted peace and happiness. Thus, always look upon those whom you encounter as you would look upon the Lord, and towards yourself as if you are a humble servant.

Always praise everyone. Never speak ill of anyone. You will attain great spiritual heights through merely praising and looking only at the positive aspects of everyone you come across. Thus remain ever humble, endeavour to serve the Lord and his devotees and maintaindivyabhav. i.e. believe each person to be divine and inspired by the Lord.

As long as your conscious and subconscious mind does not lead you to diverge from your morals, principles and religion i.e.Swadharma– then your are in Akshardham. Do you for any reason falter from maintaining your principles, morals and religion ? Do you for any reason take offence of others, dislike others or condemn them ? Does this act cause you any distress or unhappiness ? If the answer is yes then continue to serve the Lord and his devotees until you no longer falter in the manner described above and all you experience is total happiness and bliss!
